We are a community of women and girls from all walks of life
Everyone at Wampi is working towards breaking the menstrual barriers and addresses the issues of menstrual stigma and period poverty
WAMPI Menstrual Initiative was established in February 2020 with a mission to address the urgent needs of girls and women who lack access to essential menstrual products and information. Recognizing the profound impact that menstrual health has on education, health, and overall well-being, our initiative aims to provide sanitary pads to girls and women from low-income families across public schools.
Since our inception, we have been dedicated to ensuring that no girl or woman has to miss out on opportunities or face stigma due to the lack of period products. We believe that every girl deserves the chance to attend school and participate in everyday activities without the burden of inadequate menstrual care.
Join us in making a difference. Together, we can break down barriers, promote menstrual health education, and ensure that every girl and woman can live with dignity and confidence.
"WAMPI is dedicated to breaking barriers and promoting dignity by ensuring every girl, regardless of socio-economic background, has access to essential menstrual hygiene products. Through compassionate outreach, education, and sustainable solutions, we strive to empower girls to confidently navigate their adolescence, fostering a future where no girl is held back by period poverty."
A world where every girl, irrespective of her circumstances, embraces her adolescence with dignity and confidence, breaking free from the shackles of period poverty. EmpowerHer envisions a future where menstrual hygiene is a universal right, and every girl has the support and resources she needs to thrive and reach her full potential.
